The Columbus, Ohio, real-estate firm Coldwell Banker Kennon, Parker, Duncan & Key conducts weekly training seminars, which often include role-playing. Agents act out various sales scenes with one another, such as handling a sensitive house seller or showing a home’s drawbacks to a buyer. Kennon director Ed Grifenhagen says practicing potential scenarios enables realtors to deal with stress and provides them greater confidence for real-life buyer and seller situations.
