Discounting with Dignity
Tuesday, January 27th, 2009For those of you who know the philosophies of the Academy, you know that we hate the word “discount.” The Academy always espouses “selling the value proposition” or “differentiation to make the deal” as the best philosophies for success in our industry. However, we are in the toughest economy the world has seen in decades and we realize that this will certainly impact our ability to negotiate from strength or stop our competitors from panicking into price wars.
